Reverends Anthony and Leslie Baham have been members of Christ Gospel Church since at a very young age. Though Anthony Baham grew up in Louisiana and Leslie Baham in Georgia, they met in Jeffersonville, Indiana. They were married in 1990 and moved to Granite City, Illinois, where they lived for the next seven years. In 1997, they moved to Decatur, Illinois to pastor a flourishing home Bible study group. They started outreach in the local community and their work grew considerably. They founded and constructed a church, along with a gymnasium: both buildings have been subsequently paid off.In 2004, the Bahams relocated to Patterson, Louisiana, where they have been pastoring since then.

The church has been remodeled and has become debt free.Outside of his pastoral duties, Rev. Baham is as a lecturer at South Central Louisiana Technical College. He is currently finishing a master’s degree in Professional Counseling through Nicholls State University (NSU).Rev. Leslie is a stay-at-home mother who has successfully homeschooled their three children. With the church’s teen programs, she leads in the capacity to work with the Royal Regiments ministry, various Youth activities, and the Sunday School department.Reverends Anthony and Leslie Baham have two sons and one daughter, and their children help in the Music and Sound Ministries.
